Headaches are a part of life, I think I can safely say that everyone has had at least one. There seems to be many causes, you can get a headache from drinking too much alcohol or not enough water. Eating a lot of sugar, breathing in fumes or simply getting hit in the head. Sometimes headaches are a sign of underlying problems that are not directly related to the head. Nutritional deficiencies in iron, B12 and folic acid are known causes of headaches. Hormonal problems such as Hypothyroidism also produce headaches in most people. These are considerations for every patient, however our treatment approach can play a significant role in addressing the cause of the problem.
