BACK BRACE

THE BRACE THAT HEALS THE SPINE

Finally after many years of development we have a device that can allow a patient the ability to decompress the spinal discs while still remaining active. Golfing, dancing, walking on the beach... the choices are endless. Our Spinal Decompression Back Brace (DDS 500) has produced excellent results reducing pain and restoring function in just 28 days. This is not your ordinary back brace but a sophisticated treatment modality designed to remove pressure placed on spinal discs and nerves caused by Degenerative Disc Disease, Spinal Stenosis, Herniated/ Bulging Discs, Scoliosis, Neuropathy and Failed Back Surgeries.

THE CAUSE OF BACK PAIN

More than 90% of chronic back and neck pain is caused by damage to the spinal discs. The spinal disc is a cushion that acts as a shock absorber between your spinal bones. When placed under torque the disc can squish out of shape, tear and put pressure directly on the spinal nerves. The largest spinal nerve is the Sciatica nerve, that runs into your buttocks and down your leg. Spinal nerve damage is a serious problem and one that needs to be treated before permanent damage occurs.

NEW TECHNOLOGY

Picture
Recently advances in spinal orthotics has shown much promise in solving spinal disc injury.  The new Disc Disease Solutions Brace (DDS) provides the standard support of a traditional back brace but has the added benefit of decompressing the spinal discs. The process is simple, DDS acts to provide traction between the lower part of the ribcage and the upper part of the hip creating weight-bearing forces away from the lower back.
The DDS Spinal Decompression Brace will speed up your recovery and help you enjoy daily activities that were once too difficult. The DDS is thin, lightweight and can be worn discretely under clothing allowing you to preform daily activities such as driving, walking and standing for long periods of time. Active people can enjoy sports and other leisure activities pain free. The device is PDAC approved and covered under most insurance plans including Medicare for little to no out of pocket expense.

By increasing the intervertebral disc space, pressure applied on the nerve root is relieved, thereby eliminating pain while assisting active rehabilitation. The vertically expandable columns create a virtual support beam providing spinal decompression for the lumbar vertebrae.

TREATABLE CONDITIONS

Herniated Disc, Bulging Disc, Sciatica, Lumbar Acute/ Chronic Sprain, Spondylosis, Lumbar Facet Syndrome, Spinal Stenosis, Degenerative Disc Disease, Post Operative Lumbar Fusion, Compression Fracture in the Lumbar Region, Failed Surgery Syndrome, Spondylolisthesis, Low Back Pain of Physical Origin or Obesity, Congenital Weakness in Waist.

DOES NOT WEAKEN MUSCLES

One of the biggest concerns about using orthotic bracing is that it can weaken spinal stabilizing muscles. In studies conducted on the DDS 500 Brace, lumbar muscle endurance actually increased over time with regular use. The brace is a dynamic system that does not allow for muscle atrophy or weakening.

The DDS brace starts at three hundred dollars. If you get this brace through our office and you have Medicare you will have 100% coverage by your insurance with no out of pocket expense. However we are only Medicare providers. You can call Caroline at our Fort Myer Clinic (239) 275-7575, she handles all our brace requests and will pre authorize your insurance to make sure you have coverage. -Dr.S

I am checking to see if this particular brace is covered by Medicare if I live in North Carolina? Does it support and help with pain in lower back? I have a herniated and bulging disk. Do you have a fax # where I can send my prescription, and what do you need from me to purchase this brace?

Thank you kindly,
Patricia Carter

My husband is on Medicare and is interested in trying this brace. He had a spinal fusion of L5 S 1 region in 1991. Could this brace help him?

Yes. The brace is approved for his condition with a strong record of success. It is worn daily for a minimum of 2 hours (up to 5 hours). It does not weaken the core muscles like other back braces but instead help heal the injured nerves. I have Rx these braces for over 10 years and do a 30 day follow up with all my patients, on rarely will someone not get benefit. We are Medicare providers and provide the device to Medicare patients with no out of pocket cost to the patient. In order to qualify you must have Medicare, not Medicare complete, AARP, United Healthcare etc... You must have the red white and blue card. Secondly you must have not had a prescription written for a back brace in the last 5 years. Medicare will only provide one brace every 5 years. If you call my clinic (239) 275-7575 Caroline will check your coverage and answer all your questions. We have the braces in stock at the clinic and size them on site for the patient. -Dr.S

Hi this sounds great. I have herniations and also stenosis in two discs ugh. as well as herniations in the neck and some stenosis.

what do you suggest for neck and for the stenosis if we can get the lumbar discs to rehydrate. the stenosis is prob the worst thing going on and the depression from chronic pain.

I had a hernia abdominal mesh put in 6 years ago and it cause me so much pain i was almost suicidal I had it removed a year ago - that caused me to not exercise as much as normal so my discs got weakened - fortunately although 65 i have stayed lpretty strong. will order one.. thank you for your inventions.

At the end of February 2018 I had a spinal fusion ALIF fusion at the L5 S1 level. Question: Is it safe to use a decompression belt? Can I benefit from using this decompression belt for continued lumbar back pain and sciatica pain?
Thank you

I was diagnosed DISH in November 2017. I also have a compressed spine all in my lumber area and it is too straight. I am 52 years old and never had any issues with my back until then.

However, it probably came from football injuries during high school. Two severe head to head hits.

Will the DDS 500 decompression help?
